Playdates are fun!

Thank God for playdates. The girls and I get together and vent and share stories. There are 4 of us in the group and we all have boys! We usually do a potluck lunch and let the boys play. This last date was at my house and I made ravioli lasagne and garlic bread. Betty brought salad and Amy brought brownies! Right now, the boys kind of just do their own thing but pretty soon they will be interacting more with each other and we are looking forward to that. I love the group of girls in the playgroup and I don't know what I'd do without them.

Run over Maggie!

Here is a little video of James learning how to use his walker. He really likes to spend time in it and is quickly learning how to operate it. He rolls over anything or anyone or anydog in his path. Watch out!

I walk away for one minute and...

this is what I come back to. If James is too quiet for too long, I get very suspicious. I'm assuming Eggroll was keeping him company/licking his hands or face. Yuck!
Oh and a side note...my friend Gleatie is 40 weeks pregnant and really wants to have her baby (Evans) tomorrow. So, please will for that to happen. She is MORE than ready. Ha.

You can pick your friends but you can't pick your family...

Great Granny, Pops, mom, and James...4 generations
Uncle Mike
Nana
Uncle Dan
Great Aunt Kim
Uncle Blockhead-- I just have to comment here that in every other picture except this one, James looks like a baby. I don't know if it's because he is trying to impress his Uncle Block but James looks so old and serious. Too cool for pics from mommy.
Dadda
So, I don't really have these posts in order because I'm not that organized. I feel like my life is very similar to the way I post on my blog... chaotic! Ha.
James got to meet pretty much every single family member on my side of the family. My mom and dad had an "open house" on Sunday in New Orleans for people to meet James while we were in town. I thought there would be just a few people there. Oh no...not in New Orleans. You know...in New Orleans, your family is not only your blood relatives. You call just about every one of your parents' friends "Aunt" and "Uncle". That being said, James met about 40 of my "Aunts" and "Uncles" at this so called "open house". Ha! We had a great time and can't wait to go back.
