Chaney's Dairy Farm

A few of the other mommies I hang out with and I took our boys to Chaney's Dairy Farm on Thursday. We had lunch and ice cream and then spent a good amount of time sitting on the back porch of the barn. The weather was pretty hot but it felt decent in the shade under the porch. The boys were very well-behaved and were precious as always!

Nana in town!

Nana came to visit James...oh and Steve and me. She brought James a bunch of treats and spoiled him while she was here. She is welcome any time and we miss her.

Big Boy Highchair

I recently ordered this highchair since James is now starting to eat things other than milk. He eats rice cereal and apples now. Next week, we are going to try butternut squash. I am using my food processor to make his food and it is going well so far. It definitely saves money, its easy to do, and I know exactly what it is made out of.

My James vs Not my James (part 2)

This is a continuation from the below post. Although the Asian James Lee that held people hostage is NOT my James, the below cartoon character might be. Do you see a resemblance?

My James vs not my James

My James
Not my James

In the news recently, there was a story about James Lee holding folks hostage in the Discovery Channel's corporate building. Apparently, he was protesting the fact that the Discovery Channel promoted life and not population control. I just wanted to clear the air...

Doorway- before and after

Before
After

Steve has been working on some home renovations lately. We had a room next to our den that was not really being used so Steve built a doorway to make it flow into the kitchen. We layed hardwood floors and will be painting it soon. It will become our formal dining room. We also layed hardwood in our hallway because the carpet in the hall was nasty.
